November is the LeTSGEPs’ month of national events!
All the implementing partners of the consortium around this time organize local events involving their local stakeholders’ network.
The aim of these events is to achieve the project’s objectives of dissemination and promotion of Gender Equality in RPOs and in their related territories.
Last year we could only organize online meetings, this year we are therefore thrilled to have events also in presence!!
Here is the presentation of University of Messina conference
On Monday 8 November the University of Messina presented the event named “The National Recovery and Resilience Plan and the opportunities to promote gender equality” within the LeTSGEPs project.
The meeting aimed at focusing on the gender equality policies envisaged by the Italian NextGeneration EU fund, the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), and specifically their impact on the research area.
The whole LeTSGEPs team organized, coordinated and intervened at the meeting, which also hosted the interventions of the Rector and of the Prorector delegated to Welfare and Gender Equality policies.
As for the representatives of the external Stakeholder’s network, the event was also the occasion to appreciate speakers like the General Secretary of the Chamber of Commerce of Messina, who talked about the role of Chambers of Commerce in supporting gender equality in the business field, and the Equal Opportunity Advisor of the metropolitan city of Messina and trusted Advisor at the University of Messina, who presented her experience.
Prof. Tindara Addabbo of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, coordinator of the European project LeTSGEPs, also intervened as official representative of LeTSGEPs consortium.
The event was particularly successful and crowded, with a public of about 80 people in presence and 140 online.
